it's a bit disconcerting that no one agreed to help as readily as i expected them to. i bear the understanding that it's far away from a glamourous job or even one that one would look forward to doing, but still, it is a very essential one and i would say, urgent. Yes i am the i/c for this and it is my duty to get the booking settled, but still, i am baffled/disappointed/disconcerted by the fact that the people i have asked dismissed the 'request' or favour i have made of them so readily , just by reasons like ' what makes you think i have time before my lecture to ...?' , ' my lecture is all the way at science' . just two essentially, but enough . If the nature of the favour is really that inconsequential, trust me, i will not even bother asking for help. It's solely because the venue is so important ( should this venue be unavailable in the end, it will spell another round of unnecessary trouble and a lot of delay) to the e v e n t . I guess i m just unhappy with the fact that my fellow comm members isn't giving this as much a attention as i expect of them
-.- a very minor/trivial thing to happen, but still, it somehows bears a whole lot of meaning to me.
