Sunny days & Starry nights ... Tuesday, July 27, 2010
sometimes what we need is that little encouragement , which gives us that bit of strength to keep us moving and going on ....sometimes what we need is that little empathy, for that bit of assurance is comfort enough to tide us through ....and sometimes, all we need is a listening ear, because by just knowing that there is someone who cares enough to share your burden, everything is that bit lighter... in its own miraculous way..A real friend does not give and calculate its returns ; a real friend does not obtain relief from knowing that it's not her misery but her friend's ; a real friend does not belittle and doubt her friend's capability. For a real friend gives readily whenever there's a need to, feels the sorrow of her friend as deeply or even more deeply after hearing about a bitter predicament, and always have faith in her friend, that she is good and fit enough to win the battle. It is not fun to hear your good friend on the verge of everything. You really want your friend to be doing well and happy in her own little world and when that is not the case, and there is just nothing you can do to make it all better, there is a slight feeling of exasperation. Perhaps by just being there, there is hope that by just being there, things will become easier to bear. ________________________________________________________26 July 2010, Tuesday ;))) .Today is another happy day which i spent half of it at the clinic and half of it in an aw-some friend's company. plus half price waffle plus shoppin for essentials plus catching up. it gives me a thrill knowing that i'm stealing time ; when im out there taking in the sights and goodness when i could actually/by right be doing some work. hehe smackin' ! .This morning i had the rare opportunity to sit in for a parent behaviour group ;) again, this can only be seen on teevee and reminds me of the health and home episode about toddler's trouble or mommy's the world or something ! I ve alws enjoyed watching such 'documentary' on teeve and today i got to see it live ;) with the parents sharing their encounters/problems and professionals helping to 'decode' / dis-entangle' with their professional knowledge/experience. I really like the nature of what the people there do; empowering others and helping to make things easier for those who may be at the tether's end. It's a helping profession, and i like it. And all these make my direction all clearer and my path greener ;)
