Sunny days & Starry nights ... Sunday, June 20, 2010

i believe i'm suffering from a very bad bout of withdrawal symptoms - HK withdrawal symptoms. A week of frenzied travelling ( with the heightened senses ) has left me with a residue of energy which I have no outlet for. There is no more pull to will myself out from my stupor after barely 5 hours into sleep, no more trying to freshen up in 15 mins and going down for the buffet spread ;( , no more knocking on the doors of 603 and moving together with the company, no more walking with the thrill of not knowing where you will end up at (albeit w a dose of uncertainty) , no more gushing at how tak-yi some things are, no more hearing canto all around and challenging myself to speak the lingo, no more yummy hk char chan teng, no more pacing back to the hotel late into the night, no more buying of things as you wish, no more scrutinizing of maps and hoping to land up somewhere, no more this and no more that ... i wish so badly i can now be there still.
.
I've never missed a trip as much as this one. I've been to hk twice before and for a reason, nothing beats the third visit. It's my very first venture free and easy with my friends ;) and i love every single bit of it, with the cherry on top ;)
.
sometimes when you are too happy, you become worried, worried that you will lose the happiness. Because you know all too well that things work like a see-saw. There are those really happy moments, and then things go downhill from there. Things get magical only at that instant, then sadly it gets lost forever. That's why memories are so important to capture, it is only in our hearts where the intensity of those moments stay safe and sound.
& Lazy afternoons ...

Today was good. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one.
