i had a jolly outing to tamp today with Cas! She never fails to entertain me with those funny encounters of hers, & i guess she really makes me laugh. Cas if you are reading this, thanks thanks thanks for trudging along not so willingly with me ! hahaha... I didn't know i'll be so unduly troublesome and picky about gifts, perhaps i'm a very stingy person after all. So thanks for bearing with meeee! I hope the chicken leg gave your trip some yummy meaning. Anyway, i'm pretty worried right now abt the admin stuff as i haven't received a date for deedsigning nor a proper status update from the officeofadmissions. boohoo... shall call up tmrw. ,That aside, i'm still quite tickled by the lantaohua cas has been receiving of late. Maybe i shouldn't be mocking at her, haha, but it's really amusing how she has to be at the brunt of such annoying approaches, not once but twice. I almost pitied her after hearing what she had to put up with, but well again, all these must have added some colours to her post-as life x) now she can't complain abt how un-interesting her days are ;).before i end let me just share a few verdicts on the food i've had. The pan-seared dory is surprisely tender & crisp at the same time, but the twist of lemon/lime from the side dish pretty much clashes with its flavour. So i wouldn't consider that totally satisfying on the palate. For the oreo shake, i'll give it two thumbs up. It's a nice blend of cream & ice, sweet to the right spot, but i feel that $ 6++ is a tad too costly for a drink. As for the milktea icecream from islancreamery, i'd say it's almost comparable to that from hokkaidoazabo. It's hard for me to say no to icy ice creams like this ;) Finally, the cheese baked rice i had & french toast cas had today. The chicken chop cheese baked rice is sadly disappointing; there's just too little cheese and too much rice. Hence, the flavour doesn't reach the rice though it's nicely baked with lean chicken chop. Overall it fares below the other cheese baked rice i had. Lastly, the french toast from kimgary still out-wins all the others i've tried. I think you'll know it when you try it. Butter, then peanut butter, then the warm fluffy toast; it literally slides down your throat in that sequence. Feels like heaven, as cas likes it. Oh'i'll probably not drink yuanyang for some time now cos the first cup is already creating havoc in my stomach ;x shall leave it here, bye!
