official check-in tomorrow! I nvr thought this day would come, or rather nvr thought abt it in all its seriousness. All along it has been a faraway dream to live in a not so faraway place with a faraway feeling. But yes, it's as real as it is now! Oh well, let's just say... I'll be looking forward & living in the moment , but let's not get too hopeful and idealistic too soon.

Anal Sac!

mom and i bought Momo darcy to the vet today cos i suspected that his prolonged problem of sitting discomfort is caused by the infected anal sacs. He has been wary of walking at times and from time to time, he'd chase his tail. While mom didn't think much of it, i already decided on my diagnosis with much certainty. whahaha and yes, i was RIGHT. At the clinic, when the vet inserted her gel-ed and glov-ed finger into Momo's butt, it came out covered with pretty gross looking pus. knew it. it was anal sac infection arising from bacteria acting on the abscess or ruptured sac i believe. The vet said something about the other sac being impacted and swollen as well, no infection yet, phew. So Momo was given a brown tablet for pain relief and disinfection purpose and put on a 12-day antibiotics course. After the sac emptying, he has been stinking the whole day like a skunk! >,x mwahahahahaha.... he still gives off the fishy smell ... but well, it's a good sign. At least he's free from the nasty irritation x) Oh drangelineyang played a part in the diagnosis by providing me with a good online write-up on anal sacs ;) but still, i came up with the diagnosis. i guess i am a natural veterinarian! HAHA ;+) or maybe i'm a born veterinarian sister.
