How much it tickles!

i believe i am starting to like my job a little better by the day . perhaps i can only say i'm as lucky as can be to have met another super nice supervisor. with someone " omnipotent" in the center, there's apparently a drastic scale for betterment. every task now seems to come with a dose of purpose, and that is what i love. for as long as i see where my effort is going , i don't mind going the extra mile. so yes, i'm glad it's an opportune time now. i'll be committed.

boohoo and with every other day i learn something more. the first realisation i have after taking a step into the working world is proabably the prevelance of office politics. every where and any where, politics prevail. the politics i'm talking about here is basically the working dynamics of people in a single organisation; how one person instigates another and how the other gangs up with another for certain shared benefits. well to put it simply, it's complicated.

today is a busy busy day due to the absence of three teachers. that'll mean a ratio of 1 to 10 easily. opps and ya, i made a big BoooBooo today! for some strange reason, i locked the office door with the keys inside. that means i've succeeded in locking both my supervisor and myself outta the office with all valuables and stuff inside. well done. hence, for almost 2 hours, i had to travel to membina to grab the third office key from the higher sup. hhhaahaa...and my direct sup was real nice to buy me lunch after the rush. heehee. what can i say? blur to the max! lesson certainly learnt.

hmm just to end my week off, i'd like to write about how wonderful a day the children have given me. i really like how cute the N1s and playgps kiddos are. they're like innocent little things walking around and i'm amazed by how well behaved/ intelligent some of them are. before i ended work today, i tried playing with the N1s. and wow! they already knew how to read! haha. the cute thing was how this little boy showed me the pages of his book continuously so as to ask what the animal on the page was. and when i tell him the name , for example "grasshopper", he will repeat immediately after me. how very nice! it's also funny how the little kids like to introduce themselves to me when i go over. all of them will crowd up and start saying one after another " my name is crystal" and the other will continue" i am chenlei". and the talkative ones will start introducing their friends saying" this one AJ, he danzel". laugh laugh laugh! being around the kids really lift your mood ;)) i'm making danzel my fav kid becos he's really really a good boy. he gives you a hug readily and never bullies his friends. i'm going to try to assimilate better into my work environment and find more joys along the way ^.^
