We are Wildlife Buddies!
The kids & us.
Major & I.
Major is amazing! -an excellent Show Dog.
Dainty Yanwen & SuperSmart Nicholas ( he brought back a set of the wildlife buddy notes for his own reference. Wala! )
Even though the trip didn't really live up to my expectations, with a lil'bit of mess here and there, it was good. A really opportune opportunity to share bitsy info about Wildlife with the kids & bestow them with more knowledge (whahaha... not to say we are much knowledgeable anyway; i did provide them with some very wrong facts, like mistaking a blue duiker for a lesser mousedeer?) But well, like i said, it was good 'nuff. The highlight for us was very much the FRAGILE FOREST, with the kids clinging to each other and some scared stiff about the thought of animals jumping freely around. Animals like the ring tailed lemur, malayan flying fox & lesser mousedeer... I guess very few of them have come into such close contact with WILD animals. yup...& oh oh !Did you know that...- the giraffe has a tongue extending to a length of 56cm?
- & it's tongue is of a blue hue?
- The stripes on the zebras are actually not used for camouflaging but for confusing predators?
- The lions each have a distinct roar?
- Why isn't the White Rhino White and Black Rhino Black?
- The ring tailed lemur has exactly THIRTEEN rings on its tail?
- Female Tarantulas tend to eat up its male after mating?
BWHHAHAHA... i bet you don't ! Come ask the wildlife Buddy here and i shall gladly enlighten you! ;-p Bye for now!
& Lazy afternoons ...
