Love makes the World go round!

Sunny days & Starry nights ... Saturday, March 15, 2008

What a wonderful wonderful day. So well spent, so spiritually essential. I'm glad to have all these people around-- my like-minded circle in community service, my stick-togethers through four confusing years and the all-new Sam Seng Po gang.

I'm very glad to have this group of ever-ready peeps to do voluntary work with. It's always fulfilling to know that you have given something for the benefits of others and that you have made a difference to somebody's day. It's happiness derived from another's joy.

I know i'm very fortunate to have my two teenhood buddies. It was enough spending barely an hour playing badminton and the rest of the afternoon just lazing together in front of the TV. It's the good company that counts. Deep friendship like this is hard to come by, and i'm glad that we have come this far together. We are the people who know each other's secret crushes, past to present, and the embarrassing and heart-wrenching moments we each had. We shared 4 years of similar lifestyle -- same weekday routine, same class affairs, same propagandas, same experiences that helped us grow ... Such is priceless.

and perhaps, this is my first genuine experience of a feel-at-home 11-body large clique. There were lotsa gossips thrown into the center of the hk cafe rounded table, and every one of us was visibly thrilled by what each person had to share. I cannot spell out the connection and fellowship i felt at that moment, but somehow there was this invisible bond connecting us all together. We may come from different classes, speak varying mother tongues and take contrasting subjects, but we clicked so naturally that it almost felt miraculous. I wonder how long it would be before we hang out together like this again. We are the SSP gang, it's an identity we share.

Well, i still have to say, i'm enjoying life to the fullest now. This is a splendidly awesome march holiday, with every bits of flavour thrown in. It's a timely booster for my upcoming school term ;)
