Sunny days & Starry nights ... Wednesday, October 04, 2006
The eclipse of the good old days have finally occured, despite my unwillingness and oppositon. Unwittingly, the onslaught of work came gushing down and i had no choice but to brace myself for them. math.science.language.humanities-a ladder of challenges to conquer. I just hope that they aren't too high to scale. I shan't go into the details of the struggles and days that are turnin' around, they just make you increasingly disheartened and jaded. Well, life's like that, at least for now, a mere 3 weeks to the Os. AHH... even typin the rounded alphabet makes my hairs stand and mind whirl. ok enough enough...
Just a little bit of encouragement to keep me going;
"our lives are not determined by what happens to us but how we react to what happens,
not by what life brings us, but by the attitude we bring to life.
A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events, and outcomes. It is a catylst, a spark that creates extraodinary results."

Things are all happening around me at a frenzy and off-beat pace, and worst of all, an influx of issues are confusin' me. Yeah, you see, my mind has yet to take shape and there are a million things which i can't interpret or explain. They say adults have a higher coping ability and judgemental skills as they are a matured lot, and teenagers are rebellious and rash due to the yet stabalized mind. Now, i find that pretty true, hence many a times, we need the guidance and advice from the older ones. Hopefully, they are experienced enough to shed some light on the issues which were once theirs. Certainly, being wedged between childhood and adulthood ain't a simple thing. It proves a much challenging path as this is the time where we try to assert our identity and come face in face with the once faceless problems - in friendship, schoolwork, family and the list goes on. Sometimes, it can really be a torture if you are too awake and becomes extremely sensitive to the issues, hence at times, i just choose to hide away. Too much, there's just too much to handle.
But then, for the time being, i just wanna and will throw all those branching issues aside and immune myself from their existence. No more wondering about the wonders of life, no more exploring the unexplorable facets, no more dealing with secondary deals, With one mind and heart, devote all to the quest for knowledge.
